DENNY'S fans are celebrating after the diner chain brought back a fan-favorite deal - but it won't be around forever.
The beloved quick-serve joint surprised its customers with the throwback meal deal just in time for the holidays.
Hungry diners can now order the Original Grand Slam for $5.99.
The meal comes with two fluffy buttermilk pancakes, eggs cooked however you like, sausage, and crispy bacon.
Many fans of the Grand Slam meal took to Reddit to express how excited they were that the breakfast plate is back on Denny's menu.
"Denny's is for the people," one user wrote.

One user gushed over the price, writing: "This is a fantastic deal that's pretty much at an unrivaled price point even by local mom-and-pop greasy-spoon diners."
However, it's important to note that the price of $5.99 is only available at select stores for a limited time.
Denny's noted on its website that other stores are offering the original Grand Slam for $7.99.

The U.S. Sun contacted Denny's for more information on which locations are offering it for $5.99.
"I think last time this was running, it was actually $6.99 at my location," one person wrote on the Reddit thread.
"Still a good deal, but be aware that different locations can mean different pricing."
The deal was announced on Denny's' YouTube page on November 28 but it's unclear how long it'll be available.
It is only available for dine in and can't be claimed for delivery orders.
All orders come as is with no substitutions.
The Original Grand Slam meal is not available on national holidays, so you won't be able to get it on Christmas.
News of the original Grand Slam making a return comes just a month after a Denny's franchise operator, Denn-Ohio, filed for Chapter 11 bankruptcy.
The U.S. Sun previously reported that 10 Denny's have shut down across the Midwest following the bankruptcy filing.
