Back to Nature

Ventana sits on 160 protected acres of the scenic Big Sur coastline and boasts luxe amenities including two heated pools (one with an infinity-edge hot tub, and another that's clothing optional), Japanese baths, and an on-site spa. Daily guided nature walks and wine tastings are also on offer.

For the Birds

In the falconry class Swift took part in, guests "learn about the role of raptors in the Big Sur environment, see a flight demonstration and have a meet-and-greet with the birds." Ironically, the singer's nemesis Kim Kardashian, also has an interest in the ancient practice. She went on a falconry excursion on a recent trip to Dubai.

In addition to Swift's choice activity, the hotel also offers a meditation experience, candle and glass-making classes, a wild foraging hike and more.

Room to Relax

The accomodation options include guest rooms, suites and two private houses for larger groups — all with private decks.

Into the Woods

More adventurous vacationers can book a tent at the nearby Redwood or Canyon "glampsites." These rustic accomodations include a tent outfitted with heated blanets, handheld lanterns and a fire pit. Glamping guests share a bathhouse with teak-lined showers.

All-Natural Bites

The hotel's on-site restaurant Sur House serves up local, coastal-inspired dishes that highlight "Pacific-sourced seafood delivered by local fishermen, free-range meats from local farmers, produce from nearby foragers and homemade accoutrements," according to the website.

Spectacular Setting

Perched high on the cliffs above the Pacific, the dining area overlooks spectacular views.
